Professional Competence Programme
The Professional Competence Programme is comprised of two parts:
- Foundations Programme (formerly known as Professional Competence Examination 1 [PCE 1])
- Professional Accounting School/Professional Competence Examination (PAS/PCE)
The Foundations Programme, also known as Foundations, consists of a number of self-study plans, a one-day assessed workshop and an exam.
The PAS/PCE programme follows Foundations and is a requirement for membership of the CA College.
Our Pre-admissions Programme (PreP) team, along with a significant number of external experts, develops and provides the programmes and assessments required for membership, collectively known as the Professional Competence Programme.
