Remuneration Survey

NZICA’s annual, independent remuneration and employment survey is an authoritative source of remuneration trends in the New Zealand accounting profession.

The 2011 survey provides not only the latest information for the accounting industry but also, this year for the first time, we have researched employer and employee expectations in the current and changing market place.

The results have been grouped into five areas of insight as follows:

  • Remuneration in 2011
  • The portability of the designation
  • Christchurch
  • Employer and employee expectations in the changing market place
  • Changes in the accounting profession over the next five years.

I was particularly pleased in this year’s results to see our members in Christchurch fairing well. I had anticipated some significant fluctuations for this group that have not eventuated in the results.

I hope that this summary of the 2011 results provides you with some useful insight into the current remuneration climate in the accounting profession.

Kind regards
