Represent your region - local leadership team members wanted
Do you want to become more involved in NZICA’s future? Do you want to use your skills and knowledge to represent the members in your area and to help us improve the services we provide to them?
We are looking for interested and motivated CA, ACA or AT members to represent their area and serve on the their Local Leadership Team for 2012. Local Leadership Teams (LLTs) are replacing Branch Committees and are key in advising NZICA about the needs of the members in your area.
Fit for the Future 3 identified the need for NZICA to improve its responsiveness to its members, and Local Leadership Teams are a core part of this improvement. The role of LLTs is to identify any important membership issues that we should be addressing, and work with NZICA staff on improving service delivery. We need members from a range of sectors, industries and demographics and with a variety of experience to make up these groups.
LLT Terms will run until 31 December 2012, with the option to stand again in subsequent years. You would attend LLT meetings during the year, with other attendances at NZICA events or forums from time to time. Expenses in association with LLT and NZICA meeting attendance are met by NZICA. More information about LLTs can be found in the below Terms of Reference, including the potential time commitment involved in being an LLT member.

The Appointments Panels will meet in early March to select a group of appropriate Local Leadership Team candidates, which will then be put to local membership vote. Successful candidates can expect to be advised by 31 March 2012.
