Auditor for the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal UK

Are you a “qualified registered auditor” who could help the CEAUK with their first audit?

CEAUK is the UK charity set up by the High Commission to channel the donations made in the UK back to Christchurch. The charity has been very successful with donations of around £1 million raised since February last year. CEAUK has a strong board with the chairman being Sir John Buchanan, who holds a number of major directorships including chairman of Smith & Nephew plc and deputy chairman of Vodafone.

CEAUK has a 30 April 2012 balance date and the first audit will be needed for the period through to 30 April 2012. The auditor must be a “qualified registered auditor” in the UK, and we are hoping to find someone who is able to perform this service as their contribution to the appeal.

Please contact Eric Tracey, a trustee, eft@etracey.co.uk, or Chris Welch, Hon. Treasurer, chris.welch@abi.org.uk ph 0778 900 1912 if you are able to help, or can suggest someone who may be interested in helping.
